Guenther Brand joins Telepo as VP Sales

Telepo has announced the appointment of Guenther Brand as Vice President worldwide Sales and member of the Executive Management Team. Guenther, a 16 years Cisco Systems veteran, has a proven track record of driving profitability and strong revenue growth in very competitive markets and brings strong leadership, operational, negotiation and analytical skills.

Guenther joins Telepo from Cisco Systems, where he held numerous executive positions over the past 16 years. From starting up Cisco in Germany, running Global Business Development, leading the Enterprise Business in Middle East, Near East & Eastern Europe, becoming the MD in Turkey, followed by the MD in Austria and most recently leading all Service Provider and Broadcaster Activities in Germany. Prior to Cisco, Guenther has been the MD for Startup Xylan (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), as well as the Marketing Leader for ASONIC AG and the Support Manager for Adcomp in Europe. Guenther holds a degree in Technical Computer Science.
