Telepo and Dialogic announce joint partnership to drive true cloud solutions
Stockholm, January 13, 2012
Telepo is pleased to announce that it is working with Dialogic to deliver an all software based solution for cloud communication service providers. Adding Dialogic’s software based media servers to Telepo Business Communication Solution (BCS) removes the last special purpose hardware from the solution.
This is important as it will enable more flexible deployments, make solutions easier to manage and utilize hardware more efficient. Ultimately this translates to lower costs and greater flexibility for service providers, while opening up the full benefits of cloud environments.
Jörgen Björkner, CTO and founder, Telepo said: “This partnership also adds new exciting capabilities to our solution such as High Definition video conferencing in addition to removing our last hardware dependency. Telepo is the only vendor capable of delivering a complete business-class solution without any third party hardware such as session border controllers or media servers.”
Ewan Haig, Sales Manager UK & Nordics, Dialogic said: “Managing media servers based on proprietary hardware is an increasing challenge for service providers moving to cloud based environments. A carrier grade, pure software-based media server that can be easily deployed on standard server platforms and quickly respond to changing demand is at the core of Dialogic’s Powermedia XMS product strategy. XMS’s support for the standard MSML interface allows Telepo to quickly integrate it into its solution and deliver a robust, cloud friendly end-to-end solution for service providers.”
Dialogic is a world leading media server software provider. Its Dialogic® PowerMedia™ Host Media Processing Software is a distributed multimedia processing software for building innovative and cost-effective voice and video solutions suitable for service provider deployments.
