Telepo Mobile+ application is Symbian signed
Symbian Signed is the industry-endorsed application signing program that promotes best practise in Symbian OS content and application development. The program tests applications against industry-agreed criteria in support of network operator and mobile manufacturer requirements. Only when the application has passed these tests, it can be installed on Nokia S60 3rd Edition devices.
“Symbian Signed adds even more confidence that we deliver high-quality solutions. Telepo has reached a position as a key vendor of productivity enhancing communication software for Symbian smartphones”, said Lars-Michaël Paqvalén, CEO of Telepo.
Telepo Mobile+ enables enterprise users to have access to a uniform set of corporate communication services across any device and network, whether fixed, mobile or VoIP. For example, mobile users can any where and any time access voice attendant, switchboard and voice mail services and dial by using enterprise abbreviated dialling short numbers as they would from their fixed office phone.
Common mid-call services are available during calls and users can also seamlessly and automatically manage their availability (presence) through personal routing services. Telepo Mobile+ client runs as a background application, requiring no change in mobile user behaviour and providing services on demand. This means that mobile users can cooperate more efficiently in a global, multi-media and real-time environment.
Further on, Telepo Mobile+ ensures that all mobile calls automatically are optimized using the most cost efficient route regardless of network (including Wi-Fi) and location. A call is set up using Call Back, Call Through or as a direct call, whichever is most optimal and in line with corporate policies. Local SIM cards can also be used for increased savings, while retaining original calling party number. Enterprises can make extensive cost savings, typically 30-60% on local and international calls, and at least 50-70% on roaming calls.
CDR information is automatically collected (and uploaded) for any calls (both placed and received calls) from any device and network. Reports can be generated to show call statistics for placed and received calls, both in home country and when roaming, cost savings etc broken down by user, role (private, business etc), cost center and region. This give enterprises improved cost control and insight into enterprise usage of traffic patterns, voice services and communication spending.
Telepo is a Symbian Platinum Partner, member of Forum Nokia PRO Enterprise Zone and Nokia regards Telepo's Business Communication solution as one of their success stories within the enterprise application field.
