Cygate launches personal communications solution based on Telepo’s new pre-packaged ASP solution

Cygate, which is part of TeliaSonera, launches a personal, new-generation communications solution for corporate customers. The offering is based on Telepo’s new pre-packaged Application Service Provider (ASP) solution. Cygate will provide a company’s employees with extensive and easy-to-use services for different terminal devices irrespective of place.

The new solution makes it possible for the company’s employees to make convenient use of the features of a regular PBX – as well as call diversion, conference calls and the queuing service – on fixed-line, mobile and PC phones via the same user interface. Both the employees’ own and their colleagues’ contact and reachability data are easy to manage, and the solution also comprises text-message and instant-message functionalities.

Cygate’s solution is based on a pre-packaged ASP version of the Business Communication Solution software provided by Telepo. The solution, which is easy to manage by a web browser, is suited for companies of all sizes, its investment costs are low, and it is easily scalable.

The service is operator-independent and works both in Finland and abroad. The solution meets almost all the communications needs of the company, and it can be flexibly connected to an existing voice solution and other systems as well, such as access control systems. The pricing scheme is such that the company pays only for the services they use, based on the number of users.

The solution’s maintenance costs are up to 80% lower than those of traditional PBXs and their peripheral systems, for the solution is one IT system among many and can be easily managed and integrated by the company’s own resources.
