In the service provider scenario each organization and end-user within the organization is given their own Web-based self-provisioning interfaces. This offers a minimum of administration for the service provider, while providing the required service control for the enterprises and their users.
The Telepo system provides LDAP interfaces to integrate with an existing enterprise directory server to avoid having to administrate duplicates of user information. In the case of a service provider hosted system data associated with different organizations can be separated into different directory servers located in the service provider network or at the customer premises. This function supports the separation of data from a security and scalability perspective.
The system offers load balancing and high availability functionality to fulfill the scalability and reliability requirements that a managed service environment imposes.
